Narrative Description of Project:

GoJ Vision:

Development & construction of a state-of-the-art Inter-state Bus Terminal equipped with all modern amenities on a Public Private Partnership basis

Objectives:

a. To construct and develop the bus terminal & its facilities.
b. To ensure high quality Operation & Maintenance of the infrastructure created.
c. To ensure a viable public private partnership arrangement through an integrated development of the bus terminal along with commercial developments.
d. To ensure consistent revenue to RRDA through efficient operations.

Brief Note:

The bus terminal would have atleast 144 Bus bays for both active and idle buses, facilities for its servicing, Petrol stations along with etc. All modern amenities like Para transit facilities, adequate parking for the Autos, Cars and two wheelers along with other associated infrastructure required for the passengers like a good waiting lobby, Yatri Niwas with dormitories & individual rooms, sanitation facilities, Shops, ATM kiosks, Travel agencies, Restaurants have being integrated as a part of the project scheme.

The BTCCP would be developed with all the modern amenities for passenger convenience and designed to take up the present and future traffic demand generated at the site.

SERVICES PROVIDED:

The scope covers comprehensive transaction advisory services including commercial, financial and legal advice:

Preparation of a feasibility report for the Project including soil investigation, topographic survey, traffic survey and projections, master plan and layout, prioritization and phasing of the project facilities, implementation schedule & rights and responsibilities of different stakeholders.
Preparation of bid documents including Expression of Interest, Request for Proposal along with Concession and Lease Agreement between RRDA and the selected Private sector developer (PSD), Evaluation and Selection of the developer.
Negotiation and finalization of Concession Agreement with the selected bidder.
