Brief Description: Govt of Uttar Pradesh (GoUP) has approximately 105 hectares of land at Kushinagar which it wants to develop into an International Airport alongside the infrastructure in various Buddhist centres of influence like Kapilvastu, Sarnath, Shravasti etc. The site of the proposed airport is at an existing airstrip at Kasia near Kushinagar which is presently lying unused. IL&FS IDC is presently engaged in undertaking a detailed technical feasibility analysis of the proposed airport and based on the results, aid GoUP in identifying a developer on a DBFOT basis.
Project Cost: Rs. 600 Cr.
